Norwegian Cruise Line's ship due in 2019 will be called the Norwegian Encore.

In its inaugural deployment, the ship will sail seven-day Caribbean cruises from Miami seasonally. The Encore is due for delivery on Oct. 31, 2019. Reservation books will open this March.

Construction began on the Encore on Wednesday. The ship is being built at the Meyer Werft yard in Papenburg, Germany.

The Norwegian Encore will be the 17th ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet and the line's fourth and final ship in the Breakaway Plus class. It will accommodate about 4,000 guests at double occupancy.
