Norwegian Star headed to New Zealand after repairs: Travel Weekly

Norwegian Cruise Line said the Norwegian Star, which had a propulsion malfunction and was towed to Melbourne, is under repair and is scheduled to sail for Auckland, New Zealand, on Feb. 14.

Norwegian said that guests are comfortable and enjoying the ship's amenities or time ashore in Melbourne.

The cruise line said a small number of guests have chosen to disembark and transportation to the airport is being provided for them.

The Norwegian Star's next cruise is scheduled to begin Feb. 18 from Auckland.
