Prior to joining Ponant, Chamberlain served as vice president of business development for Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, the owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, which expects to take delivery of its first ship in late 2025.

Chamberlain also has experience in private aviation with Wheels Up and luxury hospitality with Hilton and Waldorf Astoria.

During his tenure, Sawhney said Ponant "built a remarkable brand in the U.S. marketplace, offering exceptional experiences aboard small ships in extraordinary places, from scattered islands to classical destinations. I want to thank my team and share with them my pride in what we've accomplished and my optimism for the bright future ahead."

Both Chamberlain and Sawhney will be based in Ponant's New York City office.
