Carnival Corp. said the fifth ship in a group covered by a memo of understanding with Italy's Fincantieri shipyard will join the Princess Cruises fleet.

Carnival had previously disclosed that one ship in the group would go to Princess. Of the others, two will go to Costa Asia and one to P&O Australia.

The two Princess ships, scheduled for delivery in 2019 and 2020, will be the fourth and fifth in a class that started with the 3,560-passenger Royal Princess.

The Royal Princess was followed by the Regal Princess (sailing in the Caribbean) and the Majestic Princess, which will be devoted to China when it debuts next year.

Princess said itineraries for the two latest ships will be revealed “in the near future."
