SANTA CLARITA, Calif. -- Princess Cruises rolled out its cruise options for its Australia, Asia, South America and Hawaii programs for late 2005 and early 2006.

The Diamond Princess will take the Sapphire Princess' place in Australia and New Zealand and offer a longer, three-month winter season there. The Diamond Princess also will sail several Asia itineraries, including a 17-day voyage from Seattle to Osaka, Japan, that calls in Petropavlosk, Russia.

The 1,590-passenger Regal Princess will take over the Royal Princess' South America program and offer, among other itineraries, a new "Brazilian Adventure" cruise: an 18-day trip from Fort Lauderdale to Rio de Janeiro. The Regal also will handle Princess' Antarctica voyage, a new itinerary that sails from Rio to Santiago, Chile, Jan. 8, 2006.

The Island Princess, meanwhile, will offer 15-day roundtrip cruises to Hawaii from Los Angeles between September 2005 and April 2006.

The Tahitian Princess will continue its 10-day Tahiti cruises, and sister ship, the Pacific Princess, will take time from its home in Australia to do three 16-day routes between Beijing and Bangkok in June and July 2006.
