Regent Seven Seas Cruises will return to service in September with the Seven Seas Splendor's inaugural season in the U.K. and the Mediterranean.
Passenger vaccinations will be required to sail, as they are on all Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands, as part of its SailSafe health and safety program.
On Sept. 11, the Splendor, which completed just two passenger cruises after being named in February 2020, will sail an 11-day, roundtrip cruise from Southampton, England, that will visit Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Regent said that the line intends to preserve the ship's originally planned itineraries "as much as the global health environment at the time allows." After that first sailing, the Splendor will transition to the Mediterranean to offer a series of cruises from Barcelona, Venice, Istanbul and Athens. The ship will then cross the Atlantic to launch Caribbean sailings from Miami starting in December.
Regent said it will announce more Regent return-to-service plans at future dates and has currently suspended all sailings through Sept. 30 on the Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Navigator and Seven Seas Voyager. The Seven Seas Splendor's cruises before Sept. 11 were also canceled.
Regent's sister brands Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and Oceania Cruises have both made return-to-service plans outside of the U.S. NCL announced the redeployment of five of its 17 ships with itineraries in Europe and the Caribbean this summer, and Oceania will resume cruises on the Marina in August, with sailings to Scandinavia and Western Europe.
