Royal Caribbean has filed federal trademark registrations for six potential ship names, as first reported by Royal Caribbean Blog, a blog unaffiliated with the cruise line.

Applications for Anthem of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Passion of the Seas, Pulse of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas and Vantage of the Seas were filed on Nov. 2 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Royal Caribbean will have at least three new ships to name, having recently ordered a third Oasis-class ship.

Royal Caribbean also has committed to two Sunshine-class ships, about which Royal Caribbean has not divulged any design information. The first of the Sunshine ships is scheduled to launch in late 2014.
