Royal Caribbean International is building its first two-story casino.

The cruise line's next Icon-class ship, the Legend of the Seas, will have the two-level venue, a differentiator from its two predecessors in the class, Royal Caribbean confirmed.

The ship will begin sailing next summer on the Mediterranean, with its first itinerary departing Rome (Civitavecchia) on July 11. It will then homeport in Fort Lauderdale beginning in November for Western and Southern Caribbean sailings that will include a stop at Perfect Day at CoCo Cay in the Bahamas.

Royal Caribbean announced Oct. 6 that the ship will host the first production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" at sea and will remix Royal Caribbean's supper club and Royal Railway dining venues.

Royal Caribbean declined to share additional details about the casino.
