Silversea is introducing new ways to earn points through its loyalty program, the Venetian Society, as well as new perks for members.
Venetian Society points are called "VS Days," and come July, members will begin earning 1 VS Day for every day of a Silversea land program or city stay. Solo travelers will also newly get one extra VS Day per cruise day.
Venetian Society members currently earn VS Days for cruise days sailed, and they will continue to earn those even when the new earning opportunities are introduced.
Silversea also is adding two milestones for loyalty program rewards. Currently, guests earn a reward after acquiring 1 VS Day, and the next benefit isn't until they reach 100 VS Days. Now, they will earn benefits in between those milestones, at 15 VS Days and 50 VS Days.
Members will receive a welcome offer upon accumulating 15 VS Days, and they will earn a $150 shipboard credit at 50 VS Days.
Two new benefits were also added for guests who have reached 250 VS Days or more: premium internet for one device and priority embarkation.
