Princess Cruises will introduce a digital escape room called Phantom Bridge on the new Sky Princess.

Princess said the ship "will transform and respond to guest actions, enveloping them in the story."

Projection mapping, touch-screen surfaces and hidden physical elements bring the environment to life, Princess said, and lighting, sound and digital features disguised as physical ones are combined "to create an immersive, realistic experience."

The game lasts 23 minutes and can be played by up to six people. More than 700 outcomes are possible, so it can be played repeatedly.

Phantom Bridge was developed for Princess by games company Farbound, utilizing its Mediascape Room, a proprietary gaming and show-control system that runs the entire game play.

The Sky Princess arrives in the fall. Princess said Phantom Bridge will also be offered on the Enchanted Princess arriving in 2020.
