Holland America Line said the 1,900-passenger Westerdam was damaged in Alaska on May 10 as it maneuvered through ice during high winds.
The ship was in Yakutat Bay near Hubbard Glacier when it sustained a "mild indentation" in its hull, HAL said.
The hull was not breached and the ship continued on its itinerary, to Sitka and Ketchican.
The Westerdam sails seven-day Alaska cruises roundtrip from Seattle.
