Windstar Cruises has provided a glimpse of what lounge areas and restaurants will look like aboard Star Seeker, the line's first newbuild ship that is scheduled to set sail on Dec. 28.
Images show plush seating and scenic views from signature dining venue Amphora, new specialty restaurant Basil + Bamboo, the Yacht Club and the main lounge.

The Yacht Club, which Windstar calls the ship's "social heart," will feature a domed skylight in a space that will offer coffee-shop style mornings and afternoons and cocktail lounge-style evenings.
The main lounge will have couches, intimate seating areas and a bar. There, Windstar will host presentations and trivia by day and live music and performances by night. It will also be the venue for the crew talent show.
Amphora will have a buffet with cooking stations and ala carte selections for breakfast and lunch. Multicourse dinners will be served in the evening. Guests can dine indoors or outdoors. Amphora's blue-accented décor is intended to complement the sea.

Basil + Bamboo will be an Asian-Mediterranean fusion restaurant that will be complimentary for guests despite being a specialty venue.
"Designing our first new build has been an exciting project for us," said Windstar COO Stijn Creupelandt. "Every detail of the yacht's layout has been carefully considered to maximize versatility and enhance our signature Windstar small-ship experience."
Last August, Windstar revealed the Star Seeker's suite categories. The ship will accommodate up to 224 passengers.
The Star Seeker's christening will be in Miami on Jan. 15. Its first sailing will be a 16-night transatlantic cruise departing Dec. 28 from Malaga, Spain.
