ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Kenneth Svendsen was named general manager of
the West Coast offices of the Walt Disney Travel Co. tour
operation.
Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing for
Sunquest-SunTrips in San Jose, Calif.
He is responsible for the reservations center, developing
marketing and sales plans and product development activities, as
well as negotiations for air, ground and accommodations tour
components.
Svendsen reports to Claire Bilby, vice president of sales and
travel operations for the Disneyland Resort.
Svendsen succeeds Ted Jansen, who was named vice president of
Disney Travel Online.
