It wouldn't be a great
idea to wish former ASTA president Jeanne Epping well with the old
show-business blessing "Break a leg." After all the years of
traveling safely around the world, she broke her leg by falling on
a staircase in her own house in Northern California last November.
Lots of doctors and surgeries later, Jeanne's leg has been
reconstructed. She's still forced to use a wheelchair, but she's
battling her way back and has begun turning up regularly at her
Santa Cruz agency.
