Adler Hotel Group will unveil the Adler Lodge Ritten, a boutique hotel on the Ritten plateau in Italy's Dolomite Mountains, in June.
Built according to high standards of energy conservation and environmental protection, the hotel was constructed using sustainable materials, including locally sourced timber.
In addition to the main building, which houses the reception area, lobby, bar, restaurant and spa, the property offers two buildings with 10 junior suites each as well as 20 one- and two-story chalets scattered around the property, some set around a small natural lake.
All rooms will feature private saunas and either balconies or terraces; chalets will feature wood-burning fireplaces.
Meals, soft drinks, wines and spirits are included in the room rate, and the menus, created by chef Hannes Pignater, focus on regional and local products.
Other amenities include a spa, with treatments rooms facing Sciliar peak, and three saunas, including two in the forest.
The resort is accessible via the Rittnerbahn, an historic narrow-gauge railway, which stops just over 200 yards away, and via cable car from the city of Bolzano.
