Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas will launch its first property in the Netherlands, the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, this fall.
Located in Dam Square in city center, the 155-year-old property, currently the NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, will undergo a soft refurbishment before the rebranding.
The redo will include select guestrooms and suites, as well as the addition of a garden, spa and gym.
Accommodations at the 402-room hotel will include a two-bedroom, 329-square-foot Presidential Suite and a nearly 500-square-foot Royal Suite overlooking the Royal Palace of Amsterdam.
Amenities will include events spaces, including the 19th-century glass-covered inner Wintergarden.
Eateries will be overseen by three-star Michelin chef Jacob Jan Boerma and will include the White Room, the Grand Cafe Krasnapolsky and the Tailor bar, helmed by celebrity mixologist James Chaib.
The property, a 25-minute drive from Schiphol Airport and five minutes from the Amsterdam Central Station, also features a private pier on the Oudezijds Voorburgwal Canal.
