Avani Hotels debuted its first property in Europe, the Avani Avenida Liberdade Lisbon Hotel in Portugal.
Formerly the Tivoli Jardim Lisboa Hotel, the property relaunched as an Avani following a more than $1.6 million refurbishment to its facade, guestrooms, lobby and reception area.
The renovation also included the addition of a new Avanifit gym and the revamped Olivier Restaurant, overseen by chef Olivier da Costa.
The 119-room property, which remained open during renovations, features standard, premier, deluxe and family room categories.
Rates start at about $160 per room, per night.
