The Krause Group, an American company led by chairman and CEO Kyle J. Krause, will open Casa di Langa next Spring in Italy's Piedmont region.
Overlooking 100-plus acres of working vineyards, the 39-room boutique hotel combines traditional Piedmontese design with sustainable practices.
The architecture and interior design are being overseen by GaS Studio and Parisotto + Formenton Architetti, both based in Milan, and will use locally sourced materials.
Design features include installations by Italian and American artists throughout the property and grounds.
The hotel's Faula Ristorante, serving dishes with ingredients from sustainable agriculture and conservation practices, is helmed by chef Manuel Bouchard.
Each accommodation features a large private terrace, a relaxation area and a bathroom with rain showers and Le Labo toiletries.
Activities at the property include cruising through the vineyards on a Vespa, cooking lessons, truffle hunting, a wine academy and art tours.
The Langa region is a Unesco World Heritage site located about an hour-and-a-half from Milan.
Spring and summer rates will start at $526 per night.
