The Crowne Plaza London -- Albert Embankment, billed as the first luxury hotel in London's South Bank, is poised to open in May.
The 142-room property will be located near the U.S. Embassy, Tate Britain, the Houses of Parliament and Victoria and Waterloo stations.
Accommodations will include six suites with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Thames and the London Eye.
The hotel was created by U.K.-based ADS Design and RPW Design and will feature an American restaurant, a sky terrace on the 14th floor, a state-of-the-art gym with personal trainers on request and proximity to running tracks along the embankment.
