Grand Villa Argentina in Dubrovnik, Croatia, is embarking on an extensive renovation, slated for completion late next year.

Spearheaded by Croatian architect Marko Dabrovic, the 131-room property will reopen as a luxury seafront hotel, with views of Dubrovnik's Old Town and the Adriatic Sea.

Located a five-minute walk from the historic city center, the hotel will feature refurbished Mediterranean gardens, revamped alfresco dining, an expansive spa area, an outdoor pool and decks overlooking the sea and Old Town.

The renovation focuses on sustainability, using natural and local materials such as stone, ceramics and wood.
