The Paris-based, family-owned affordable airline French Bee has been flying from the U.S since 2018, offering nonstop service to Paris-Orly from Newark Liberty, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
In December the airline inaugurated its route from Miami, where it's operating three times a week and scheduled to increase to four in April.
It also operates from the U.S. to French Polynesia.
French Bee's six Airbus A-350 jets seat up to 411 passengers, and there are three ticket options/classes of inflight service. The lowest priced fare category, Basic, includes a 26-pound carry-on but no meal or checked bag. Smart-category tickets include a 50-pound checked bag and inflight meal. Premium (comparable to other airlines' premium economy) includes two 50-pound checked bags; premium meals; complimentary drinks; priority boarding; and priority luggage delivery.
But regardless of their ticket option, passengers can add extras, including WIFI, premium and specialty meals; lounge access at Paris-Orly; additional luggage; maximum leg-room seats; and inflight amenity kits, on an a la carte basis for additional fees, which range from $12 to $130.
