French Bee, Corsair flying Newark-Paris Orly route

A pair of discount French carriers will launch service between Newark and Paris Orly next summer.

French Bee and Corsair will fly the route daily, beginning June 10.

The route will be French Bee's second to the U.S., joining the San Francisco-Orly service it began in May 2018. Newark-Orly will also be Corsair's second U.S. route, joining the Miami-Orly. Tickets for both services go on sale Tuesday.

French Bee and Corsair join discount carrier Level and the business-class carrier La Compagnie in the Newark-Orly market. United and XL Airways fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle from Newark. Also, Air France, Delta, American and Norwegian all fly to Paris from New York Kennedy.

French Bee flies Airbus A350s with a premium economy and an economy section. Corsair's A330 and Boeing 747 aircraft have business, premium and economy cabins.
