Hilton is doubling down on the Italian island of Sardinia, announcing plans to open the Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia in 2022 and add the Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia to its Curio Collection by Hilton stable later this year.
The Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia will be the luxury brand's first flag in Italy.

Set to be located on the southern end of Sardinia as part of the island's multiresort Chia Laguna destination, the Conrad project involves the redevelopment and renovation of an existing property.
Following the revamp, the Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia will debut with 107 guestrooms, each of which will feature either a private garden or terrace.

The family-friendly resort will also offer several food and beverage outlets, including the outdoor eatery La Terrazza, Sardinian-focused concept Sa Mesa and all-day bar and lounge Bar Bollicine, along with amenities like a Conrad Spa, a pool and pool bar and meetings and event space.
The Conrad will be joining the Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia, which is also part of the Chia Laguna complex and is set relaunch as the Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton this summer.
The Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia comprises 77 guestrooms, all of which have a private terrace, and amenities like a pool, tennis courts and outdoor kids club.
The resort is home to three restaurants, including an Asian fusion concept called Flow, and two bars.
Guests at both the Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton and the Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia will have access to a private beach club at the nearby Monte Cogoni Beach, with Conrad guests also set to receive access to a complimentary beach shuttle and private VIP beach areas.
The Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia joins an existing portfolio of nearly 40 Conrad Hotels & Resorts properties globally, while the Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia will be one of more than 100 Curio Collection hotels worldwide.
