Hotel Fariones opens in the Canary Islands

Hotel Fariones, a five-star hotel on Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, opened Sept. 1 following an extensive refurbishment by PY Hotels & Resorts.

The 213-room hotel, formerly Los Fariones, was closed for several years during the renovation.

The beachfront property, located in the center of Puerto del Carmen on the southeast coast of the island, features direct access to Playa Grande beach.

Amenities include an infinity pool, two Jacuzzis, multiple restaurants and bars and a rooftop pool and terrace overlooking Fuerteventura and Isla de Lobos.

A sports center offers group activities, fitness classes, the services of personal trainers, a gym and tennis courts. Guests also have access to the 18-hole Lanzarote golf course nearby. 

PY Hotels & Resorts also owns the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort, also on Lanzarote.
