Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is gearing up to open Kimpton Barcelona, the luxury boutique brand's first hotel in Spain.
Set to debut in the second half of 2019, the 156-room property will be centrally located in Barcelona's old town, near La Rambla.
Public rooms will include a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant and 2,690 square feet of event space. Other features will include a rooftop lounge and swimming pool overlooking city center and the Cathedral.
For the Barcelona opening, IHG is partnering with Casacuberta http://casacuberta.com/, a private real estate acquisition and development company with hotels in hotels in Madrid, Barcelona and Geneva.
