The five-star Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes opened in Chartrons, the historic wine merchant district of Bordeaux.

Overseen by uberdesigner Philippe Starck, the 97 guestrooms range from 69 to 560 square feet, spread across three floors. 

Amenities include a restaurant overseen by Japanese chef Masaharu Morimoto and blending Japanese culinary and Western cuisine, a Spa, two meetings spaces and an open-air terrace.
