The Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest marked its grand opening in Romania's capital in March. The boutique property, which comprises 30 suites, is located in a belle epoque building that has been awarded national monument status by the Romanian Ministry of Culture.
Located at the intersection of Calea Victoriei and Elisabeta Boulevard, the historic property was the first in the city to have electric lights and an elevator and has hosted royalty and other dignitaries over the centuries.
Amenities include the Sass' Restaurant & Lounge, Boulevard 73 and the Heritage Bar. In addition, the hotels offers the Corinthia Spa, Bucharest, with a white sauna with Himalayan salt walls and aromatic infusions, a steam bath, an ice fountain, an aromatherapy shower and a fully equipped gym.
Off-property excursions include visits with local artists, performance venues and cultural institutions as well as helicopter daytrips to the nearby Carpathian Mountains.
