While HBO's "Game of Thrones" final season won't premiere until 2019, Austin Adventures is inviting guests to visit many of the set locations from the hit series on its Journey to Winterfell Northern Ireland hiking itinerary.
Departing July 1, the seven-night tour is priced from $3,998 per person, double (the single supplement is $580), and includes most meals, sightseeing and entrance fees, taxes and gratuities.
Guests will collect stamps for "Game of Thrones" passports representing filming sites visited.
Highlights include Downpatrick, where St. Patrick is buried; an archery lesson at the film set for Winterfell (Castle Ward); a seven-mile hike along an old smuggling route; a photo stop at Carrickfergus Castle and tea at Ballygally Castle Hotel; a walk across the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge; an eight-mile hike around Murlough Bay and Fairhead or an 11-mile hike on the Giant's Causeway; and a stop in Belfast, home of Titanic Studios, where much of the series was filmed.
