Polihale State Park on Kauai's west side is closed indefinitely due to damage caused by December flooding.
The park's main entrance road, a bridge, water system and restrooms sustained heavy damage in the downpours.
State Department of Land and Natural Resources officials said continued use of the muddy road would cause further deterioration, and significant repairs must be made before the road can be reopened.
