Hawaiian Airlines on Thursday became a member of the Oneworld alliance, joining sister carrier Alaska Airlines.
Passengers who are members of Atmos Rewards, Hawaiian and Alaska's loyalty program, can earn and redeem points, and enjoy elite status, when traveling on any of the 14 other Oneworld airlines.
Reciprocally, members of Oneworld airlines' loyalty programs can earn and redeem points and have their elite status recognized on all Hawaiian Airlines flights.
Hawaiian Airlines said Oneworld membership will deliver economic benefits to Hawaii. With increased global connectivity and the opportunity for Oneworld members to redeem points for a Hawaiian flight, alliance membership will bring more travelers to the Islands, said the carrier.
Hawaiian Airlines operates about 230 daily flights to, from and within the Hawaiian Islands. It welcomed some 11 million passengers in 2025 and links the Hawaiian Islands with destinations in Asia, the South Pacific and North America, including Oneworld hubs in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Sydney and Tokyo.
Oneworld members include American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines (JAL) and Qantas.
Later this year, Hawaiian Airlines will introduce a Oneworld livery on one of its Airbus A330s.
