Carly Clement has been appointed the new general manager of the Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head Hotel, property owner MacNaughton announced in a statement Oct. 6.
Clement comes to the property adjacent to Kapiolani Regional Park from the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, where she served in the same role at the property just one mile away from her latest stop.
"I am so pleased to join the Lotus Honolulu and MacNaughton," Clement said in a statement. "I look forward to working with the staff to continue providing a luxurious and unique Waikiki experience to our guests."

Clement brings more than a decade of experience managing properties in Hawaii and California. Prior to her time at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, she was director of rooms at the Modern Honolulu and also was part of the management team at the Four Season Resort Hualalai.
"Carly is known in the hospitality industry for bringing out the best in her teams and finding ways to elevate the guest experience," Emily Reber Porter, COO of MacNaughton, said in a statement. "We are fortunate to have her and her many years of experience at the Lotus Honolulu."
MacNaughton, a Hawaii-based real estate and investment firm, acquired the Lotus Hotel, a 51-room boutique property near Kaimana Beach and the Diamond Head crater, in 2019.
