The CDC has labeled Mexico a Level 4, very high risk destination for travel due to rising cases of Covid-19. The CDC is urging people to avoid all travel to the country.

For those who must travel south of the border, the CDC urges travelers to get a test for the virus one to three days before the trip and to not travel until a negative result has been attained. During travel, it urges people to wear a mask and stay at least six feet from those who are not traveling with you. Before returning to the U.S., get tested again one to three days before travel and follow all destination and airline requirements.

Upon returning, get tested three to five days after travel and stay home for seven days after travel. If you do not get tested, stay home for 14 days.
