AAA has released its list of Five Diamond properties for 2019 -- a list totaling 121 hotels, which represent 0.4% of the more than 27,000 AAA Inspected & Approved hotels in North America.
Five of this year's members are from Mexico. They include the Banyan Tree Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Montage Los Cabos in Cabo San Lucas, Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancun, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende in San Miguel de Allende and the St. Regis Mexico City.
Of the five, only Montage is new to the list, having received it shortly after opening within the past year.
