The
AAA Five Diamond Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort in Los Cabos, has
announced its summer 2016 once-in-a-lifetime experiences, a series of ultraluxurious
activities designed to immerse guests in the best of the Baja peninsula. Among
this summer’s offerings:
•
Surf in Paradise: Adventurous guests will receive a private surf lesson from
one of Baja’s top instructors at three of the region’s best breaks, followed by
a secluded picnic lunch.
•
Create Your Own Tenango Linen: With the guidance of a trained local artisan,
guests will design their own hand-woven, embroidered Tenango linen, completely
customizing the color and pattern for their Mexican keepsake.
•
60 Fingers Massage: Four massage therapists and two Mexican guitarists combine
their expertise to offer an unusual couples’ massage. Set up on the private,
rooftop terrace of the couple’s room, guests are treated to an hour of music
timed to the flow of their massage.
•
Huichol Class: Guests channel their creativity to design their own
kaleidoscopic piece of Huichol art. Using vibrant, multicolored beads, guests
will work with the resort’s visiting artisan to embellish an animal figure of
their choice with meaningful symbols and develop their own Huichol style.
•
Challenge the Sommelier: Wine aficionados are invited to test their prowess by
challenging Las Ventanas al Paraiso’s sommelier in a competition to select the
best wine pairings for a gourmet dinner. Competing guests become members of Las
Ventanas al Paraiso Wine Connoisseur Club and will have their own personalized
wine tasting glasses at La Cava, the resort’s wine cellar.
