Hotels & Resorts has introduced a kids’ club, the Kidd-O Zone at Grand
Oasis Palm in Cancun, designed for children between the ages of 3 and 12.
The
Kidd-O Zone features outdoor fun areas, such as a “splash zone,” which includes
a beach area with kid-size lounge chairs and surfboards as well as family
cabanas. The pool area features a mini-water park with a number of activities,
including a trampoline, climbing iceberg, a pirate ship with slides and a
wading pool with inflatable water tubes. Indoors, an arts and crafts space
invites children to paint, construct and create a variety of crafts to take
with them as gifts or souvenirs. The space also includes a theater for movie
screenings, puppet shows, songwriting workshops and more.

The
Kidd-O Zone also has a kitchen where future chefs can work side by side with
skillfully trained chefs to learn how to prepare some of their favorite dishes.
A game room includes technology for gamers, and a princess playtime room is
designed for kids to bring their favorite fairy tales to life.
The
food and beverage plaza, Pirata del Caribe, is designed as an outdoor
marketplace where kids will find an ice cream station, cookie and pastry
station and more. The plaza also has restaurants such as Petit Wimpy, Petit
Tacos and Petit Happy Chicken, all of which feature kid-size meals.
Oasis
Hotels & Resorts launched a website, www.oasisfun4families.com, to showcase
the new area. The site gives visitors a view of the Kidd-O Zone and easy access
to book the next adventure.
