Nature and adventure enthusiasts can now access the Explorean Kohunlich all-inclusive resort, part of Group Posadas' La Coleccion, even faster with Mayair's new flight from Cancun to Chetumal.
The new route from Mayair, which launched on Jan. 9, will open possibilities for travelers to reach Chetumal in under an hour -- a vast improvement from the original four-hour drive from Cancun. Chetumal is the capital in the state of Quintana Roo.
The route from Cancun to Chetumal operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There are two roundtrip flights on Mondays and Fridays, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, while on Wednesdays there is one roundtrip flight departing Cancun in the morning and returning that evening.
