Karisma Hotels & Resorts has wrapped its two-year, $7.7 million renovation at Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun by Karisma.
The renovations included upgrades to 200 guestrooms and suites, including all of the honeymoon suites. Rooms have received new terrace and balcony furniture and new smart TVs.
For families, there is a newly branded children's program, Azulitos, designed for ages 4 through 12, which offers a variety of activities from cooking classes to water balloon parties, kids' yoga and more.
Most of the property's restaurants have also been upgraded, including Le Chique, a multisensory restaurant, which received a $500,000 investment. New decor and signature dishes have been added to Azul Beach Resort's Tapaz, Zavaz, Zocalo and Siena.
Other new offerings include Moet Pool Parties, which are weekly parties sponsored by Moet & Chandon; theme party nights like S'mores and Bonfire Beach Parties, Casino Nights, Magic Shows and Jersey Boys performances; new Bali beds poolside; and new spa packages at the 8,000-square-foot Vassa Spa.
