Temptation
Resort & Spa Cancun (www.temptationresorts.com) will close on Sept. 25 to
undergo a multimillion-dollar makeover under the direction of Egyptian-born
industrial designer Karim Rashid.
When the property reopens in August of 2017, it
will show off 430 newly designed rooms and suites, each with a terrace or
balcony; new guest areas; a pool; new shows; eight specialized restaurants serving
15 types of cuisine, including an aphrodisiac-themed restaurant; and five bars.
The
revamped resort will begin accepting reservations in the fall.
