Mar del Cabo has debuted on the Baja peninsula with a new look following a $4 million renovation that was completed last month.
Formerly Marbella Suites, this European Plan hotel sits on the Corridor and is now the property of Velas Resorts, and is the only EP offering in its portfolio.
The classic boutique-style hotel has 46 one- and two-bedroom suites, as well as two penthouses. Each unit has a king or two queen-size beds, kitchenette with coffee maker and microwave, terrace, separate living area, and bathroom with step-in rain shower.
The Encanto Restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving local Baja dishes and Mediterranean fare. A bar, spa and oceanfront pool are also part of the amenities.
