The Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas completed a multiphase renovation, including an expanded pool complex and family zone, refreshed public spaces and soft changes such as a revitalized culinary menu.
The 466-suite resort has renovated both its adults-only and family pool areas. In the family section, the resort doubled the size of the pool to 400 square meters, added a splash zone and expanded capacity in the area to improve flow.

The adults-only pool area now includes a deck-style layout for daytime lounging and evening events, four new jacuzzis and a dedicated fire pit.
Other changes to the pool areas include contemporary daybeds instead of wooden cabanas and nearly twice as many lounge chairs to ensure ample availability.
Restaurant revamps
The resort has completely rebuilt the Bella California oceanview restaurant, doubling its original size and redesigning it with an eye toward creating an immersive, modern Mediterranean-inspired dining ambience led by chef Kevin Rendon Alvarado, a Los Cabos native. Carbon Grill steakhouse was also updated with new interiors and an elevated wine and culinary program and the Taco Bar concept was refreshed to now serve tacos, sushi and craft cocktails.
Menus were also updated in its other restaurants, including Tomatillos, Tortugas Terrace and the Sports Bar. The lobby has also been renovated.
The changes come as The Villa Group grows and refines its footprint in Mexico, with the anticipated addition of Villa La Valencia Punta Mita, although no date has been set.
