Musicians from around the world will fill the streets and beaches of Zihuatanejo from March 5 to 13 at the 13th annual Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival (www.zihuafest.com).

The international event will feature a series of concerts over nine days at several locations, including the Viceroy Zihuatanejo resort (www.viceroyzihuatanejo.com) on La Ropa beach, El Palmar beach in Ixtapa and La Madera beach in Zihuatanejo.

Guitarists from many countries will perform, representing different styles, from classical percussive, blues and country to international influences. Among the performers will be the Croweaters from San Francisco, Manan Gupta from India, Nick Vigarino of Washington state, the Roberto & Mehida Duo from Uruapan, Mexico, Shai Sebbag of France and Zihuatanejo’s own Jose Luis Cobo.

Tickets are approximately $5.50 to $11 per concert, while a platinum pass for all the events is about $100.
