The Kariba Safari Lodge, a new addition to the Zambezi Cruise & Safaris portfolio, is expected to open in September in Kariba Town (Mica Point) on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe.
Situated on a forested mountainside with views of the lake, the lodge features nine individual smaller lodges and eight suites set on various levels in a tropical forest. The main lodge has been built with an elevated deck set against the mountainside where the open-plan lounge, restaurant, outdoor patio and bar is located all overlooking the "ocean-like" Lake Kariba. Facilities include a swimming pool and casual bar with a communal boma area. Free WiFi will be available to guests.
Road transfers are available when combining the Zambezi Cruise & Safaris Lodges and Cruise Boats circuits or a private aircraft charter can be organized from Victoria Falls Airport.
