Registration is open for Travel Weekly's CruiseWorld. The 2022 event returns to Fort Lauderdale and the Broward County Convention Center, Nov. 2 to 4.
The annual event has much to offer new and experienced travel advisors, such as supplier trainings, networking, ship inspections and informative general sessions.
By registering early, advisors can take advantage of the event's lowest rates. Register now at the early bird rate of $175, more than 40% off full-price registration.
Ship inspections will make a comeback, taking place on the weekend following the show, Nov. 5 and 6. Check the CruiseWorld website for announcements in the coming months.
Returning in 2022 are the crowd-favorite Pitch Perfect segments, where a panel of suppliers pitch their product to advisors' hypothetical clients. Topics will be multigenerational, group and luxury travel as well as river cruising.
Also back is CruiseWorld's popular STAR (Select Travel Advisor Recognition) Program for an elite group of up to 250 CruiseWorld attendees. 2021's program was sold out.
All those interested in applying for the STAR program are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. More information on the semi-hosted program is at the CruiseWorld website.
Peer-to-peer training will be available on Friday, Nov. 4. These breakout sessions are a highlight of CruiseWorld, enabling established and developing travel advisors to learn from one another in the areas of marketing, sales, social media, product development, professional development, supplier-relationship building and more.
Advisor attendees will also have a chance to brainstorm together in an interactive Think Tank. Attendees will be able to share ideas about what has worked for them and ask for assistance from their peers for challenges they are facing.
Supplier-sponsored workshops will be offered on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 2 and 3. Attendees will hear from destinations, cruise lines and other suppliers on new products and programs.
The 2022 supplier roster for the Exhibitor Showcase is growing. Airlines, cruise lines, destinations, hotels and resorts, professional services, tour operators, host agencies and consortia, and travel insurance will be well-represented on the showcase floor come November.
Visit CruiseWorldShow.com to register and for more information. Suppliers interested in participating in the Exhibitor Showcase should email Emmy Morales. Custom sponsorship opportunities available.
