The inspiring exploits of Katniss Everdeen, the unbridled cruelty of President Snow and life in dystopian Panem can be explored in "The Hunger Games: The Exhibition" at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Iconic costumes, genuine props and set re-creations from the record-setting cinematic series are on display. Galleries include the Hall of Justice, Snow's office, the Tribute Train and District 13. Caesar's Trivia is a visual motion sensor game, and visitors can warble tones and listen for mockingjays' echoes.

Immersive archery training with a 60-foot-wide screen caps the experience. The screen recently received a Guinness World Records nod as the largest touch-screen display.

Almost 30 original costumes are on display, including the Girl on Fire dress and the Mockingjay gown. Visitors get a close-up view of Katniss' Mockingjay armor and pin and Peacekeeper armor and rebellion tactical gear.

The exhibit's retail shop, Capitol Couture, offers exclusive clothing and collectible items.

This is the second family-friendly, film-themed attraction in Las Vegas opened by international entertainment and exhibition company Cityneon Holdings and its subsidiary Victory Hill Exhibitions. Their "Marvel's Avengers Station" interactive exhibit opened at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in 2016.

"The Hunger Games: The Exhibition" was previously in New York; San Francisco; Louisville, Ky.; and Sydney.

Tickets for the exhibit are on sale through the end of 2020. Entry is $35 for guests 12 and older, $25 for those ages 4 to 11 and free for children under 3. Group rates are available. Admission includes a commemorative ticket and can be purchased at the MGM Grand site or at the hotel's box office.
