Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, a new attraction at Epcot, will open Oct. 1, part of the kickoff of the Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary, the "World's Most Magical Celebration."

The family-friendly attraction focuses on the world of Remy the rat from Disney and Pixar's 2007 film "Ratatouille."

The attraction will be located in a new, expanded area of the France pavilion, designed to resemble Paris. A new restaurant, La Creperie de Paris, will also open there on Oct. 1. It will have table- and quick-service options, with food like sweet crepes, buckwheat galettes and French hard cider.

The new additions to the France pavilion are part of Disney's ongoing overhaul of Epcot.
