Golfers in Las Vegas can already work on their driving power and precision at the MGM Grand's adjacent Topgolf location. On Sept. 1, M Resort is taking that experience virtual with the city's first Topgolf Swing Suite.
The venue is an entertainment hybrid — a little bit lounge, a little bit adult arcade. Guests can grab a club, step into one of two hitting bays and blast virtual golf balls into the atmosphere or play Topgolf challenges to test their skills. The interactive game also lets participants take simulated swings at some of the world's top courses, such as St. Andrews, Torrey Pines and Pebble Beach.
When visitors aren't trying to soar past digital sand traps, they can relax in lounge-style seating and enjoy a menu of craft beers, cocktails, milkshakes and bar-friendly snacks.
Bookings for the Topgolf Swing Suite start at $30 per hour, and players must be 18 and over unless accompanied by an adult. Reservations can be made at https://www.themresort.com.
