Rock 'n' roll is the subject of a new immersive experience at Illuminarium Las Vegas at the Area15 experiential arts and entertainment district.
A collaboration by Rolling Stone magazine, Brand New World Studio and Illuminarium Las Vegas, the attraction features 1,332 Rolling Stone covers from 1967 to 2024, never-before-seen archival footage from the 1960s to today and the music of more that 300 artists and bands. Floor-to-ceiling Panasonic 50K laser projections and 3-D audio technology propel the narrative.
"Audiences will be blown away by the breadth of the show as they watch the story of rock 'n' roll unfold in a way that's never been done before with the help of countless brilliant minds who brought this show to life," said Alan Greenberg, CEO of Illuminarium.

Actor and musician Kevin Bacon narrates "Rolling Stone Presents: Amplified, the Immersive Rock Experience," a story told in eight chapters. Topics include sketches of rock's most influential artists, details of their recording process, messages behind their music, the impact of their fans and the music's effect on culture.
"The images and video clips alone are one of the most impressive collections in history, but the chronological storytelling that brings people together has created something truly meaningful and impactful," said executive producer Brad Siegel, founder of Brand New World Studios.
The exhibit includes memorabilia, rock show merchandise and photo opportunities. A full-service bar is available for guests before and after the show.
Tickets start at $39 (plus tax and fees). Illuminarium opens at 11 a.m. daily. The last show time is 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays. The experience, which has no scheduled end date, is about one hour long.
