The Who will be rocking the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for six nights in May.

Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend are performing with local symphony orchestras on the Moving On! Tour, which hits Vegas on May 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 and 16. All shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., with the exception of May 16, which will begin at 9:30 p.m.

In addition to delivering their many classics, they will perform songs from their first full-length album in 13 years, "Who," released earlier this month, including "All This Music Must Fade" and "Street Song."

Few bands have defined the rock era more than the Who. The band debuted in 1964, and their anthems "I Can't Explain," "The Kids Are Alright" and "My Generation" stirred a generation of young fans. Among their many hits: "Baba O'Riley," "Won't Get Fooled Again," "Pinball Wizard," Who Are You," and "You Better You Bet." Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, the band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. In 2008, they became the first rock band to be awarded the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors.

Filling out the Who's current lineup are guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend (younger brother of Pete), keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button, drummer Zak Starkey (son of Ringo Starr) and vocalist Billy Nicholls.

The 4,470-seat Colosseum received major technical and design enhancements last summer. The Who last performed at the Colosseum in 2017, becoming the first rock band to have a mini-residency since the venue opened in 2003.

Tickets starting at $69 (plus tax and fees) are on sale at ticketmaster.com. A dollar from each ticket sold will benefit Teen Cancer America, a charity launched by Daltrey and Townshend in 2012.
