Universal Orlando Resort is continuing the narrative that it's now a weeklong destination with a new vacation package that includes a hotel offer and six- or seven-day park-to-park tickets.

Since the opening of Universal Epic Universe last May, Universal has positioned its Orlando resort as a place where vacationers can spend a week. Consumers seem to have received the message: travel advisors reported guests are booking longer stays.

The new vacation package was announced Thursday.

It enables U.S. residents to book multiday tickets with six or seven days of park-to-park access to all of Universal's parks: Epic, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay.

For a limited time, Universal is offering a special rate, enabling guests to purchase a six- or seven-day ticket for the price of a five-day ticket.

The new ticket can be combined with an offer for a $300 hotel dining credit when booking a five night or longer stay at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal Aventura Hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort or Universal Terra Luna Resort.

Guests bundling tickets and hotel stays under the new package can save between $75 and $200, depending on the length of stay.

The package's booking window is open until May 6 for travel from April 12 through Sept. 3.
