EF Ultimate Break, a tour operator that designs trips for young adults, is launching itineraries in the Balkans.
The tour operator will launch two programs along the Adriatic Coast and in the Balkans: one that visits Slovenia and Croatia, and another that brings travelers to Croatia, Albania and Greece.
The nine-day Slovenia/Croatia itinerary focuses on lakes, caves and castles. Guests start their journey in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, before traveling to Lake Bled. There, guests can take a wooden boat to an island in the middle of the lake to visit a church and also try kremsnita, a cream cake that is the country's national dessert. Itinerary highlights include a guided tour of the Postojna Caves, visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park and partaking in the region’s coffee culture.
EF is also launching an 11-day tour focused on the Southern Balkans, starting in Dubrovnik and ending in Athens. Guests can take an optional day trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina, immerse themselves in "Game of Thrones" filming locations and visit Montenegro. Other trip highlights include riding a boat on Lake Skadar and visiting an Albanian bazaar.
Both trips debut in May 2027.
